The practice of shuffling banknotes in ancient China was the precursor to the modern game we know as blackjack. This practice has evolved into a card game, which was borrowed by the Mamluk Empire. Mamelukes, as Muslims use various designs similar to the famous Muslim rugs, to decorate cards. Arriving in Europe in the Middle Ages, players used the ranks of the royal men in the Royal Court to reveal cards. But that’s only in th. 1500s, when the French had introduced the Queen to the cards. These cards were known as the “French Pack”, and were the direct predecessors of the modern 52-card deck.

Roulette, as a casino game, includes very interesting events. The word «roulette» means «little wheel» in French. The game we know today was famous in Modern France, and was edited by Francois and Louis Blanc into the form we are all familiar with. Others state that the game was introduced by the Chinese and brought to Europe by Dominican monks. Despite its origins, roulette is still the most exciting casino game today.

This game was too popular among the rich and famous in 18th and 19th century England, and was originally called «Hazard». It was imported to France, where it earned its modern name. “Craps” comes from the word “crabs”, which means “a pair of one”. The game was a huge success in America, where it was simplified into its current form and played on steam-powered show ships.
